Artist Photo - Stush

Like the name suggests $tush is an eclectic fusion of $ophistication, $treet savvy and $ex appeal. Hailing from South London this Princess of the Underground first graced the garage scene in 2001 with her dance floor anthem, “Dollar $ign”. An undisputed raver's favorite, her debut set clubs alight up and down the country as the masses drew to her unique lyrics and melodic style. From this point onwards the momentum was incredible and within a matter of months, $tush was both a role model and icon for girls who warmed to her Cindy Lauper, “Girls just wanna have fun” attitude.

In 2002 $tush signed a major recording deal with Universal and since then she has worked with premier music makers such as Wyclef and Needles, (50 cent, G Unit). In no hurry to churn out an album for the sake of it she has spent her time understanding her art and refining it to perfection.

2007 will undoubtedly be a very busy year for $tush. She hopes to release material from her debut album and in the build up to this she has featured on the new Groove Armada single, “Get Down”, which is the first release off the new album, “Sound Boy Rock”. This track has already secured a Top Ten position in the UK Singles chart and a No. 4 position in the Australian download chart thus creating an exciting buzz amongst her fans. It has also opened her up to entirely new market of music lovers ranging from acclaimed critics to established artists such as 50 cent who recently declared on Tim Westwoods Radio 1 Show that $tush was his favorite UK Rapper.

She has already toured Australia, New Zealand and the UK and performed on Channel Fours, Transmission and Popworld programs. Plus The Jools Holland show and Jo Wileys live lounge.
